During the golden age of the harpsichord, the telescope was invented, drastically changing our view of the world. It is therefore fitting that the asteroid (10542) Ruckers, located in the main belt between Mars and Jupiter, is named after the founder of a famous dynasty of harpsichord makers. This celestial object has been little researched, but poses no threat to humanity.
